SPECIFIC® Endocrine Support is a complete dietary food to regulate the supply of glucose (diabetes mellitus) in adult cats. The diet includes a reduced level of monosaccharides and disaccharides. It also has a low carbohydrate content and a high protein content, as well as a moderate fat content, a high level of omega-3 fatty acids of marine origin, added beta-glucans and natural antioxidants. The diet covers all the requirements of adult cats with diabetes mellitus and contributes to their health.

SPECIFIC ?? endocrine support is a dry diet for cats with diabetes mellitus and associated conditions such as pancreatitis.

Very low level of carbohydrates and from sources with a low glycemic index, such as oats and lentils, combined with high levels of fiber help to control blood glucose levels. High levels of omega-3s from fish and beta-glucans to support the body's natural anti-inflammatory process and improve insulin sensitivity. Low levels of fat help cats with associated pancreatitis. High levels of nutrients that support the immune system, zinc, selenium and vitamin A. Diabetes is associated with oxidative stress where there is an imbalance between harmful free radicals and neutralizing antioxidants. These diets contain high levels of antioxidants, including vitamins A and E and fruit extracts.
